Second meeting

BS Benedikt Seidel Public Seen by 141

hey folks,

lets have a second meeting to

1) maybe make a first safety instruction for getting access to some fancy machinery and it would also be great to use the 3d printer. is that possible, kaisa?
2) work on the roadmap to get makerlab started. your help is needed. we have some ideas.

Please also help in finding a time by taking part in the poll (kind of a doodle here in loomio). feel free to make your own time suggestions in the poll.

tutto bene

My schedule is quite overbooked until 20th of February. How about meeting after that and doing some homework in-between?

Alekos Pantazis, RND junior researcher & P2P Lab member, is in Tallinn on 18th and 19th. He is establishing a makespace in Greece, and would be a good addition for the training and this second meeting.

wanted to make a note of this to bring it up at the meeting: https://www.aalto.fi/events/art-and-design-academies-technical-service-workshop

Hey lucas, will alekos leave on the 19th? if otherwise, please consider scheduling the meeting on 21.02 or 22.02. to give kaisa the opportunity to join the meeting. If alekos really leaves i suggest we make the meeting with him but also to make an other meeting (or write a good protocol at the first meeting) with kaisa to inform her.

Lucas Tue 12 Feb 2019 8:05AM

Alekos leaves on the early morning of the 20th. He is really only two days in Tallinn, he have to deliver lectures and has other responsibilities at university. On the 20th and 21st I am not in Tallinn. On the 22nd.. I may be available in the morning, but not for sure.
What if we have the safety protocol training on the morning of 18th or 19th, with a not very long meeting afterwards to organize the pending tasks, and we meet Kaisa on Friday 22nd (if possible) or Monday 25th?

sounds like a good plan to me. lets do it like that.

KH

Kaisa Hansen Tue 12 Feb 2019 11:10AM

On 18th I'm not in the house and on the morning of 19th we have meetings. I talked to Priit, he is willing to make the safety training for you . Depending on which lab you want to use it might take 15 min/ per lab. So let me know which labs you want to use? Priit is free on both dates (18th & 19th).

L

Lucas Tue 12 Feb 2019 2:02PM

From a list we have on the machinery that it located inside the labs, I identified 5 labs:

Metallilabor - metal
Elektroonika labor - electronics
Puidulabor - wooden
Keevituslabor - welding
Värvilabor - coloring
Are we missing any others labs, or that's it?

KH

Kaisa Hansen Tue 12 Feb 2019 2:43PM

Ok, so you want to use all the labs. Be sure to have an Estonian speaker/ translator with you, because Priit said that his English might not be sufficient (and we wouldn't want you to misunderstand the instructions). If you plan the training on the 19th around 11 AM, then I might be able to join.
Let me know how many people will join.
