Hi all,

If you're interested in learning more about forest gardening, Graham Bell and I are teaming up for a 4-day intensive online course in March. The dates are 15, 17, 29 and 31 March.

Graham Bell, author of The Permaculture Way & The Permaculture Garden, lives at Garden Cottage in the Scottish Borders – the longest established intentional food forest garden in Britain. Graham has taught on six continents across thirty years.

Tomas Remiarz is author of Forest Gardening in Practice, has twenty years’ experience of creating forest gardens and teaching internationally. He lives in a rural co-housing project in Herefordshire.

Each session will open at 11am GMT and will be taught from 11.30am- 3.30pm and close at 4pm. The first and last half hour are available for people to arrive become acquainted and chat.

The curriculum is exhaustive and will cover how to design implement and maintain a Forest Garden, looking at inputs, outputs and benefits of a systematic approach. Suggestions will be made for pratical homework and follow up activity.

Costs will be at attendee discretion: Desired contribution £240, Average (suggested for household income over £14K) £160, and for people on lower incomes £80. We do not wish people to be excluded, so if you have any concerns about cost please do speak with us. Please bear in mind that paying more makes it easier for us to include people who have income restrictions.
