Code of Conduct

Considering people are working together, often for the first time, I think it is reasonable to put together a simple code of conduct that lays down expectations we have for a happy and productive time.
Anyone got some specific things they'd want to see in it? I've never written one, and not sure if there are any specific to this context, so if anyone has some samples I'd love to see, otherwise I'll have a crack later.

Cheers, probably start off with an edited version to fit the scope of the activity, but looks a straightforward winner and probably hits all the notes with how we expect people to work with eachother as well.

One more change, same deal. Just a few edits to remove reference to Pycon, done very quickly so let me know if there are things I missed/messed up.

Looks great to me. Theres one PyCon ref in the paragraph after 'Short version'. Other than that, wicked!

I'd prefer to lean more on one that's geared more toward being the canonical "COC" for these type of events. As such I'd strongly recommend looking at http://confcodeofconduct.com/ which is also available via GitHub in various languages https://github.com/leftlogic/confcodeofconduct.com.

More for licensing reasons? I'm happy regardless as long as it just clearly states the basic requirements of being a human being in a society :D

At second glance they are more geared toward conference style events... So not entirely applicable without tweaking. But I do agree with the sentiment "tl;dr: Don’t be a Jerk" :)
That being said what you've outlined in the attached doc fits the bill as far as I'm concerned.
