Forest Gardens in Healthcare Settings: Resources

NBJ Nickie Bartlett / Jakeman Public Seen by 86

I've started pulling together some resources for those wanting to develop FGs in a healthcare settings. Links to evidence re sustainability and wellbeing etc (there's very little written connecting both...interesting) I've got a flavour for what the members who attended on the AGM and conference would find useful, but if anybody has specific things they would find helpful, please let me know. As ever, this sort of work is generally better when done collaboratively, so if anybody wants to help or has connections with people that could offer help or different perspectives please let me know.

Thanks Simon. We didn’t mention Lucy Jones’ book and that’s a really useful resource, so thanks for that and for the website link to your blog.

Hello Nickie,

I missed the AGM, so I am not sure if the book "Losing Eden" by Lucy Jones was mentioned. As well as covering her own story of mental health history she quotes lots of various studies some of which make a fascinating read.

The attached link I did for the Cornwall Council blog site the Hive may help you too on the community vision and mental health I have. https://letstalk.cornwall.gov.uk/carbon-neutral-cornwall-blog

Kind regards
