Mark discussions as unread

I often like to read new comments in my groups but, many times, I can only contribute some time later. It's hard for me to keep track of which threads I'd like to contribute on so a "mark as unread" feature would need great - If it could be easily implemented.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

PS: Massive gratitude to the team for all their hard work. I've been around since the beta in 2013 and you've truly created something amazing which goes way beyond a mere tool.

Thanks for the very kind words @staccotroncoso. It's really nice to have your support.

To support the ability to "mark something I'd like to return to later" I would use a "star" function on comments or threads. We did have this, and it was removed unfortunately, however I do plan to bring in back in due course.

Lots of work going on right now to rewrite the UI in a framework that can support us into the future, this is going well, and when it's released new features should come more quickly.

Hello @Rob Guthrie & awesome Loomio team! Did you get a chance to look into this? We're heavy users (we have a full wiki entry on Loomio and how we use it!) and this functionality is something that we keep discussing.

Hi Stacco, Thanks for the reminder.

We're just about to release two big updates to Loomio (collborative editing and a rewrite to how threads are rendered) , and after that I'll come back and add a "star" function so you can persoanlly bookmark anything you want to come back to.
