Discussing the Refill app and getting organised to get 100s of city businesses on there, distribute stickers etc, and establish funding for a local co-ordinators and network costs.

11th August - Newnham and Grantchester (start at noon, Red Bull on Barton Road)
18th August - Castle and Arbury (start at 10am, Coffee Tree on Histon Road)
25th August - Mill Road and Hills Road (start at 10am, Edge Cafe on Mill Road)

Thanks Kim for helping me out with East Road last weekend! Several of those businesses are now online on the app. And Dave I see Arjuna have got the sticker in the window now. I take it you're going to give it a try even though it may slow down service? I've had a first round of discussion with the county council officer about a water fountain but it's not looking super promising I'm afraid.

Hi everyone, we now have a page on the main Refill site: https://www.refill.org.uk/refill-scheme/refill-cambridge/

And we've also been told to prepare for the 17th and 27th of September, as there are some big things happening nationally then. On the 17th we will receive a digital campaign pack with some new videos and things we can use on social media, and on the 27th they would like us to organise some big social media campaigns and get some press interest. So please let me know if you'd like to be involved in those. We also have our next action day on the 29th September in Cherry Hinton.

It doesn't look like this suggestion is going to work :-) Not to worry, it was just an idea, giving us a chance to meet and discuss what's ahead. Instead, please look out for something on the 27th, TBC

We have been asked to organise something big for September 27th, as it is now designated "National Refill Day". I suggest meeting on the 22nd to plan it, as this is the day of the Cambridge Eco Living festival which we can visit afterwards.
