I'm Praveen, Pirate Praveen. I have over 9 years experience as a technology consultant and a senior system administrator with companies like HP, Red Hat, United Airlines and Amazon. Currently freelancing as a Free Software consultant. I'm also a podmin at poddery.com and I was a mentor for Google Summer of Code. I have introduced many students to Free Software and mentored them in their contributions. I'm a privacy advocate and my recent campaigns include otr works (making encryption accessible to everyone) and pirate cycling (cycled across Kerala over one month promoting knowledge freedom). I'm also active with Indian language computing community, Swathanthra Malayalam Computing. I'm a Debian Developer and maintains many ruby libraries as part of the ruby packaging team.

Hi, I am Karthikeyan A K , a web developer from Chennai. I just like to eat and sleep, but some other things bother me like locked up knowledge, ability not to change ruler in his alloted tenure if we think he must go away and so on.

Life is for living, I feel people are making it worst by making education and health paid. In some families 80% of their revenues goes for just these two things which is pathetic.

I am also impressed by the idea of direct democracy which is put forward by the pirate party. So lets see what this international party does to the human kind.

"Manohar Elavarthi is a social and political activist based in Bengaluru. He became active in progressive movements through Students Federation of India (SFI) in 1988 and Communist Party of India – Marxist (CPIM) in 1990. He founded Sangama - the premier sexual minorities and sex workers rights organisation in Bengaluru in 1999 and has worked full-time on these issues for more than a decade. He along with other activists founded Praja Rajakiya Vedike, a progressive political platform for alternative politics in 2009. He is active in Swaraj Abhiyan since its inception. He has been active in movements against economic injustice, gender inequality, religious fundamentalism, casteism, racism, ecological destruction, nuclear weapons/ energy, war and draconian laws."

I have met him a few years back in Bangalore. I'm sure his passion and experience will help us a lot.

Hi I 'm Akash.I am a student at DPCOE.I mostly like to spend my time in doing some unexpected things which no one tries. Similarly, i found pirate party too, some brilliant job to do.
I want that education should given free of cost to each individual .Because there are some brilliant minds who don't get opportunities to represent themselves.
I met u @praveenarimbrathod, at COEP debian packaging . Since then , as i was interested in some political work , @rajudv suggested me pirate party.
And So I am here now...!!!

I am a student, 18 years of age. Just discovered this while talking to @praveenarimbrathod.
Oh and I must say, loved the vision of the Pirates. I loved the Manifesto, too.
Looking forward to see this go forward! :D
