Dear all, exciting news for all of us who believe there is a case for more forest gardens in schools. Caroline Lucas MP just sent an email confirming to our member @Malcolm Nicolson saying the exam board OCR has begun developing the qualification; that the response from teaching professionals, the conservation community and the public has been overwhelmingly positive; And that the GCSE could be taught in schools as early as September 2021. Of course our children should be working towards this starting in primary school.
Why not approach your local school? Here's a recent article she forwarded which says some more.
