Forest Garden / Food Forest Courses in Faversham at the Abbey Physic Community Garden
We are delighted to make so many forest garden courses available this year. The Abbey Physic Community Garden is a special place and has a dedicated forest garden. I consider that the whole of the garden has become one.
We are offering four day courses to stand alone or do all. Each in turn will explore an area deeper. The series would be great for people developing their own projects and includes bonus online calls in between. Accessible to London. 11 minutes walk from Faversham train station.
We will be running more courses around East Kent. We have set up a Permaculture Learning Centre here and will launch on May 1st 2 to 4pm. A free open event celebrating International Permaculture day. Come and see.

Another course I am running with Addy Fern based in one of the oldest intentional forest gardens in the UK is at the amazing Plants for a Future site in Cornwall. Ken was the originator of the Plants for a Future website, the two are separate now. Nature Connection, Plants & Permaculture. August 12th to 14th.It will be an introduction to Permaculture and we will learn all about food forests and the plants in one of the most incredible locations. Sat 16 Sun July. Designing Forest gardens / food forests. How to grow like a Forest. Learn about how to survey a site, how to utilise sun, soil and other energies moving through the site, plant selection and some different design techniques.
Sat October 15th. Practical Permaculture. Gardening like a Forest Day. How to Garden like a Forest.
