thanks...in trying to find the dismiss button, i figured out a few other things...like pins and closure. (the bitter voice of experience...is there is a real need for deletion...?)
dismiss is a way of removing a thread from the list of recent threads without having to open the thread and find that all it is says is...'you closed this thread.'
or if you cannae be bothered with that conversation at the moment...?
mute just makes it disappear completely from your view but into the muted threads list...
have you opened the menu on left by clicking the three bars at the top left?
