Am going to move Sun's description of the plan down to here and cut into pieces so each step can be addressed separately...

Sun and Kittea move into Sam's room and pay that rent (until Tiny Home is 85% complete).
Sam moves into Sun's room paying $170/wk plus utilities.

Sounds fine but curious about what happens at the 85% milestone. I also need to measure up my furniture & the room and see if there's room for my desk in there. If not, we will have to think about where I can have office space- may mean reorganising the lounge room, buying a tarp so I can work outside Tom & Nicole's room like Tom used to, or getting mosquito netting over the Western downstairs apartment once it has walls so that it can be a comfortable office space in the evening.

Workaway people live in container until new space is created for them.

How will this work while you are renovating it?

We'll only be renovating outside at that stage.

Shed below water tanks built to stage where tools and benches can be transferred from the container.

I suspect this task may have to be the first job completed, or alternatively may have to be worked around downstairs apartment construction if Dean is happy to store what's in the shed now under the house temporarily. It may also conflict with plans to move the caravan to the same space beneath the house. Do @deancameron & @tom120 have any thoughts on this?

This transition can happen after outdoor area is complete giving time to build shed where it was always going to go. Helping clean up the yard of tools, materials and machinery.

the storage space down here could be organised to store perhaps 1/3 of the equipment and materials in the container up on the new storage slab once we complete it on the 5th jan there is a heap of stuff that is in the existing shed and its growing daily it seems. The new top shed is going to have to be prioritised. There will need to be a good cutoff drain above it too as otherwise equipment and tools will get damaged. it needs a well thought through plan drafting and costing. The fixing up of the shed isnt going to be done until after the second apartment is complete. there are a lot of balls in the air and lots unfinished. Im feeling the strong need for some consolidation and finishing of existing projects that will give us a more comfortable cashflow ie the appartments before we launch into the top shed unless Sun can project manage that and some workaway people to complete it while I finish the second apartment. The other big ball in the air is finance through toms new firm. We need some completion around this too or we will find ourselves at June and still nothing certain. I support the project but it will require a lot more effort and commitment to get it to the stage hoped for in the timeframe you have set @sun7
