Supplementary Planning Guidance

With the input of a number of members Daniel Scharf has now finalised our Supplementary Planning Document to form part of a local authority's Local Development Framework. That status will allow Forest Gardens to be used in the determination of planning applications and will acquire the weight of a ‘material consideration’ under Section 38(6) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
This SPD addresses the way in which Forest Gardening could and should contribute to the compliance with each of the key policy areas in turn. If it's helpful to your own work locally, please share any feedback! :slight_smile:

Are you happy for me to discuss this with South Glos Council LPA? And, perhaps put a version into my local towns Neighbourhood Plan?
