We're going to do a blitz in the new year for national sponsors to be split between the venues, but local organiser should definitely approach locals in the meantime. We can put them on the website, they can be used in local promotion, etc.

Just following up on this, @melita - we currently have five events (Wellington, Christchurch, Tauranga, Whanganui, Hamilton) - and most of them haven't progressed as far as yours. I'll email all of the organisers off-list to see what's needed.

Education unions may be able to help with resources. TEU - Tertiary Education Union, headquarters Wellington, provided pens for an event I helped with. NZEI or PPTA may be interested. Local councils and their community development teams sometimes help events with resources like paying for morning tea.

A quick, belated update: no one else has said they need sponsorship so far.
@melita would it be worth contacting the local rep from NZEI or PPTA and seeing if they are interested? We're working with those orgs at a national level on OERs, so they might be keen to help out.

Hi everyone
We were thinking about the things we needed/wanted sponsorship for on a local level today - the biggest thing for us is actually resources like pens & paper etc.
Apparently Warehouse Stationery does all of its sponsorship on a national level - just wondering whether they might be on the sponsorship list and/or whether others think it might be useful for them to have some resources too?
