Selecting our first charity partner for launch
The process of selecting our launch partner(s) feels as important as the outcome we reach. I've set this thread up to enable us to collectively share ideas on the criteria for partnership and document our proposition and contracts with partners. I would also hope that it allows us to agree a plan of work to get new partner(s) on board. Clearly a lot of thinking and work has been done in this area but for those of us who are new, this feels like a great way to contribute and drive the platform forwards.

And the doc I shared with you Kath on Telegram, introducing the idea of partnering with Dignity to potential charity partners: http://tiny.cc/beinganeac though it's probably quite dated now and we've learned a lot and it lacks the clarity about what exactly we would expect of charity partners and what we agree to do for them and general agreements about how exactly we work together.

I think it's great. Some new characteristics in there which I align with too. Lovely! I wanted to make some comments on a couple of bits but I think Share settings are 'People with link can > View' if you change that to 'People with link can > Edit' I can jump in again. What do you think we should do with the previous version? I thought you were going to amend that one or add another page?
It feels like such an good thing to be doing now, getting in touch with local causes and measuring them up against these juicy clear criteria / characteristics :monkey:

Let's make The Real Junk Food Project Brighton our first charity partner Closed Sun 14 Oct 2018 11:02AM
and partner only with them for at least a few months. Perhaps around 6 months (this is what our http://tiny.cc/userrevforecast forecasts)

The organisation is fine. My vote relates to exclusivity. I sense dealing with the dynamic of multiple charity partners, if that’s to become the model, needs to addressed from outset. Perhaps scaled down to 5 or 10 partners. Each person has own preference in terms of giving regards a cause. If DP becomes synonymous with a particular partner then that could lead to confusion later on. It would good from outset to be associated with at least the following bases: LGBTQ+ rights, Ecology, Poverty...

@toddarnold thank you but this proposal is just about how we feel about The Real Junk Food Project being our first partner.
There's another thread about exclusivity, which is where your comment there ^ would be most relevant!
There's less than 24hrs before this proposal closes, so you can still change your vote.
Edit: just seen you have voted and commented on the relevant thread, you've just kinda duplicated here

It gave me a big grin when you proposed creating this thread on Ideaspace :yum:
Thinking and work has gone into this area but I think this doc is the most relevant resource and don't think it's been looked at since Spring last year:
