It's largely developer-related, but not a proposal. If it does not fit here, please move (or inform me and I open another thread in the other group).

Ian Bicking wrote a blog post a few days ago: How We Use GitHub Issues To Organize a Project. He's working on projects like Hotdish or TogetherJS where coordination is needed, too.

Since diaspora* is pretty large, too, I thought, there might be some good practices useful for us in that post :-)

I’ve only tried this approach with a small dedicated team. It wouldn’t match the less consistent rhythm of an open source project, and I have no idea how it would work with a larger team (maybe okay?)

Do I really need to further comment on that....
