Hello, as I'm just starting this group anyone I'm inviting seeing this probably already knows me but please take a moment to introduce yourself so others joining can see what were about.

I'm interested the fundamental patterns of living which extrapolate into the rich complexity that surrounds us. I generally hang around the blockchain/distributed ledger/crypto currency space because its fairly multidisciplinary and it seems many in it share my fascination with organisational patterns. To that end I very much like what I see in Sociocracy3.0 and have an interest in linking up co-operatives, DAO's and Common Pool Resources. I feel the world is struggling to deal with a provision problem and we need to halt the rent dissipation of our planet.

Hi, my name is Marko. I’m coming from Croatia, a small country on the Mediterranean, you should definitely visit
I met Josh at Web3Summit in Berlin, he told me about this community and invited me. I hope I'll be able to contribute and add value in any way I can.

My passion is helping other people become better at anything they do. I do this is by encouraging a practical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving, raising self-awareness and consciousness across all levels of human activities and interactions. Blockchain and Web3 technology have given me strong faith that we can create a more just and equitable society. I’m highly motivated to deepen public understanding of such opportunity, educate people on the technology itself and a greater impact it has and will have for the humanity.

My background is in UX design where I’m actively working today. I’m open to discussing Humanist UX approach that should shape the products we’re building now for the best possible impact on a more human, decentralized future. I’m also actively seeking opportunities to contribute to any crypto project to get a better understanding and learn as much as possible about various technical solutions and help developers make better decisions when BUIDLling new solutions.
So, if you have a crypto project that you'd need a design thinker hit me up!

Cheers!

Ha! You see? I felt it :) I was browsing this group content a bit and have this Exercise in Decentralization doc open for a week already but didn't get a chance to deep dive into it. What do you suggest I should do next around here?

Hi @michaelshea and @lewisflude :)

Telepathy bro! Hmmm, I was hoping the lads would say hello but both have been off map recently - maybe they'll come back. RE: suggestions on what to do... I see it all as safe enough to try at the moment so whatever you deem appropriate really; poke the loomio and add a human touch! Perhaps change the group name or pictures for fun, start a vote or conversation or jump on a thread thats already running :)

In other events I have a project you might be interested in... Think along the lines of decentralised wikipedia (curation market) but starting with one particular topic very well curated, authors of work attesting to completeness of published materials and consumers of information being incentivised to contribute missing details. I can send details to anyone interested to help but think its probably best to keep the specifics in stealth at the mo - let me know if you want to talk :)

Hi. I'm Ken. Invited here by Josh. Met last week at the hackathon deep dives. Live in The Netherlands. Father to two girls (ages 9 & 12). Believe if the is one thing we need to improve it's our problem solving. So am working on that (problem-solving problem solving). Creating a technique based on a concept called BUMPS (Big Unsolved Meaningful Problems worth Solving). Has led me to ask many new questions. Happy to be here 👍😀

Sounds like a good framework, did you check the generators thread by @markoprljic ? Some big problems suggested in there!! Really good talk worth listening to :)

Hi, my name is Viorica. Josh invited me to join this community. I am a lawyer who is interested in the impact of blockchain on the legal system. I am a big fun of efficiency and transparency in the legal industry. Curious what smart contracts can offer. I would love to participate in the hackathon. I am also running a small charity program in Moldova.

Hey Victoria, I've responded about the hack in another thread but it would be nice to know more about your charitable entity if you care to share! :)

I am helping children (also children with malnutrition) and elderly people in Moldova. I am researching ways to create self-sustainability for mothers/parents (to motivate them to engage into the society).
