Money from ppbe for the elections
Last piratelab (26th of January), we were discussing about the money on the account of the informal union (feitelijke vereniging/association de fait) and the coming elections.
As there is some money on it (approx. 4500 €), it would be a pity not to use it for the elections. However, the appetite for a GA is not very big as we need everyone on those elections.
So, the proposal is as follows:
- we keep 1500 € for operations after the elections ;
- 1500 € are allocated for Flanders and,
- 1500 € for Wallonia.
It means that both groups would have the possibility to spend up to 1.500€ for this year's elections. To be able to receive the money, they would provide either an invoice or a proof of a consensus in their group.
Brussels is not included as there is no crew and/or active Pirates running for elections.
Either you provide an invoice or a consensus among Flanders or Wallonia, so Patrick has some proof for why the money goes off the bank account.

As far as I know there is no crowd funding nor another bank account for Wallonia.
- Maybe a contribution to a law suit to the Conseil D'État if the PPBe wich to help (±700, see January PirateLab ?
Just a precision : the contribution would not be part of the budget for the Wallonia, as it's not part of their campaign ;)

Oh, it wasn't very clear in the first message, but what we had discussed at January's Lab is this : each of both regions (Flanders & Wallonia, as Brussels doesn't have active members or a crew) could spend 1.500€ for the elections (in exchange of invoice and/or proof of a decision by consensus in their region). So it's not "we send 1.500€ on a bank account".

Ha. Ok. It's different that what I understood.
So how do we keep tracking of those invoices, the amounts and the usage ?
- Here on this Loomio thread ? It's easy to send / attach a document.
- On a pad ? It's easy to edit. But we can not easily attach / send a document
- At last on wiki page to centralize both invoices and usage ?
Probably a mix of it.
Maybe it would be a good time to improve the proposition (the main text on this thread) to make in more clear.
Thanks for your inputs.

I updated the context of the proposition to avoid confusion.
To keep track, I'd suggest a mix Loomio/wiki : Loomio to announce and/or discuss if needed + wiki to keep the documents in a proper documented page.

First of all, thanks you for the initiative.
I would like to provide a quick snapshot of the money related activities and « s(p)ending possibilities » for the moment (Feb. 2019). If I miss something, please add your comments.
Take note that the « regional point of view » does not talk about Brussels, but I do not think that there is some « active pirates crew or folk» there. So, not a problem.
Pirates be
We keep 1500€ on the Triodos account (IBAN: BE90 5230 8062 213), that's the easy part and it gives us arround 2 years of lifetime.
In the past it was 1129,17€/year see IT Squad history of the wiki page.
Pirates vlanderen
Where (and how) do we send 1500€ ?
May be thought the crowdfunding Zonneschip voor Piratenpartij ?
On the Mermaid VZW account (BE34 9731 7404 3090 ) ?
Note : Mermaid vzw was made for Belgian Pirates, but here and now it would be a good way to share the treasure for the Regional Elections.
Pirates wallonia
Where (and how) do we send 1500€ ?
As far as I know there is no crowd funding nor another bank account for Wallonia.
