McCreature Exhibition
As an artist, I strive to create an image that the audience can get wrapped up in imagination, with detail to keep the eye moving around the picture.
My style is surrealist, dotted with hints of subjects that relate to my past and present life.
Animals, death, life, macabre themes, and dream like imaginings.
I have a strong fascination with the human heart (and representations of it), and it features a lot through my paintings. A machine like organ, but also a symbol of emotion and a connection to the physical.
I would like to exhibit my works so people can see a world through my eyes, to experience my expression of self - visually.

That's fine as long as it's after 6pm, they clean up after themselves but most importantly they do not touch the artworks.

Checking in to see that when Homies Cosy Teahouse use the space Tue Feb 9 6pm - If there are any issues with where the artworks are hanging, I would prefer it if the group called me (I live around the corner), and I will come sort it out. I really do not want a repeat of last year's incident where I had to bear the brunt and continue to when Linda Knuvers exhibited for 1 day and came to find her art on the floor & damaged.

Hi @leilaniavisesio I am very upset to read about this incident where the artwork was damaged! Poor coordination on our part, certainly in the future it would be great to have your contact details so this is avoided. In regards to Feb 9 we are not screening that week, the calendar will need to be updated to reflect our commitment to only screening fortnightly this year. @murdoch how can I arrange this calendar change? The 16th Feb will be on, but not the 23rd and etc.

I've been in the space a few times since the McCreature exhibition and there are a few things
first I'd like to apologise that the Fringe Artists may have intruded a bit on her final day in the space, which would have impacted her cleaning up the space. I could have communicated a bit better about what was happening that evening, and the fringe artists came in even earlier than I expected them too which was my fault I'm sorry about that.
I spent 25 minutes today trying to scrape 'Creature' off the window and I did not get very far. I was wondering if McCreature could come back sometime in the next few days and get it off? The space should be free before about 3pm this week. It might require some paint thinner or something as scraping and methylated spirits don't seem to work very well.
The other thing was she painted on the walls which I wasn't that happy with, she has covered them with white paint but it is a different shade of white than the original white and now the walls look quite patchy. We might have to repaint the entire walls to cover it up.

Hi @leilaniavisesio, I've had inquiries from a Fringe artist about using the space on Monday 8th in the evening for a dress rehearsal ahead of their season starting on the 12th, would this be okay with McCreature? Also the exhibition is listed as being all day on Friday 12th, do you know if they plan to pack down on that day or on the Saturday? Just so I can tell the Fringe artists using the space on the 12th to know what to expect.
