(proposal darft) this DMC team will be looking at how technology impacts creativity. Between software and hardware, the audience will be able to explore their creativity through technology by using a drawing machine, VR or purely code.

Good work on projection mapping and processing. Collaboration with Rosie in the Sustainable sector to work on a wall together and with Vish and Lee in the AI sector. V is developing a quiz and Lee will be great to work with on the image.

Technology has been used in the arts for centuries. It has enabled human beings to create through experimentation and mastering of technique. How does creativity differs when applied to painting on a canvas and to creative coding?

Is Technology Killing Creativity met virtually to find solution to no big projection area at Tate Exchange.
Solution: We can put a canvas on an easel - or white boxes - for projections of what humans and tech can do together. The canvas and easel highlights the human element that computers can take over. Can use ceiling or floor if he lets us too. Can use Damian’s examples on canvas. I have some too if needed. We can develop it throughout the week and add more too.
Shirley has a written text on creativity and tech which was created for the AI group when they were going to print a book. We could also use that it would be a good introduction to the context.
The virtual pen came without the base unit, they are sending the base unit but not sure when it will arrive from Israel. Might be an added human element into technology art at the end of the week.
