National Food Strategy
Did we know about this? Individually and collectively this seems to be an open door for forest gardening.https://www.nationalfoodstrategy.org/terms-of-reference/

@andrewcarey @charmianlarke @danielscharf would you be able to work together to respond - with the resources here and on the website? And inviting in support from good folk here? I’m afraid I have no time to lead in the next few days. But more than happy to read and comment from next Tuesday onwards. I agree it’s so important to have FG’s represented.

I would be happy for Andrew and Charmain to kick this off as I will be concentrating on the planning system.

I'll do my best...

Here's a draft response. The National Food Strategy site asks for initial responses of up to 1000 words max with (if necessary) a single attachment listing further resources. Since everything necessary is available via the NFGS website, I have simply listed that in place of a 'further resources' attachment.
We have a week to finalise this but I am away from Monday so it would be good to make any changes in the next day or two so that I can upload it. [Equally, if anyone wants to take this on and finish it and upload it themselves , please feel free.]

Andrew thanks for getting us going with this - could you share as a google doc so people could comment/amend? Deadline noted!

You've done a wonderful and succinct job Andrew. @charmianlarke unless you have comments, do we support Andrew to get this off?

Essential that we make a co-ordinated submission. I am copying to our relevant authors and hoping to get them involved too.
