P3: Lessons from Doug Engelbart

I'm doing a little experiment this year that I hope will help me articulate what I consider to be the underlying Principles and practices of high-performance collaboration. For the next 10 weeks, I'm going to spend a few hours writing up lessons learned from an important Person or Project in my work. (People, Projects, Principles — P3!) I'll share what I write here, which I hope will provoke valuable thinking and questions from others. At the end of the 10 weeks, I'll use patterns and gaps as the basis for mapping out the principles and practices.
