First Time Subjects

A big part of Pair Cider is people being excited to make a start straight away with their chosen groups. To this end, I'd like to get ideas for what people would like to do and match them ahead of time, and we'll do this process before each event so we can be sure of numbers every time.

Some things I'm working on/interested in:

Front End Testing - stylesheet screenshots & javascript

Learning Documentation Tools like Sphinx better

Rewriting my Client Storage Library (johoDB) in Typescript

The whole point is not to just do your own thing, so we need to find things that you can either be willing to mentor with or eager to learn about.

Could be interesting to take some hard general problems for people to work through together in their language of choice. Either for someone to teach someone else that language or for the both of them to bone up on their critical thinking.

These were the sorts of problems I was thinking about: http://uva.onlinejudge.org/index.php?option=com_onlinejudge&Itemid=8&category=3
