Co-Create Sheppey (plan)

K Kayleigh Public Seen by 47

Hey everyone, I hope all is well. As a way to distract myself from current events, I have been designing a proposal for a citizens action network/development forum in my local area. This is all very base level stuff and not ready for any real use yet, but I just wondered if anyone had any thoughts to add to the document. Many thanks in advance

Fabulous work Kayleigh! Looking forward to studying further, commenting and sharing. Why not invite willing co-creators from Sheppey to this? Ideally via the "sign up here" link, at the top of The Alternative UK website's front page--so they get a sense of all the resources available to the project.

Thanks for sharing Kaleigh. I love that humour is one of your six values. The only feedback is about the tone of voice. Find the right balance of honesty and positivity. Wherever the TOV tips towards pessimism, think about how you can phrase it in a more positive, yet honest light; more people will want to get involved. Hope this helps. Again thanks for sharing. I think it's brilliant what you're doing!

Thanks for the feedback, I will get to work on it. This is one of my first attempts at writing anything like this so any and all feedback is incredibly useful. I will work on boosting the positive message where I can, and as soon as I find any interested individuals, I will try and point them in the direction of A/UK's signup page. I will also design a more public-facing version that's a bit shorter and for those who just want to quickly see what Co-Create Sheppey and The Alternative UK is about at a glance.

Hi Kayleigh , would it be OK for me to include a link either to your more public-facing version, (when ready) or your current version, with any explanatory text you might want to add, in CASwiki?

We have a Kent page, and it'd be good to include something in a 'community involvement' section.

You might also be interested in using a separate page in the wiki as a sort of collaborative workspace for info on Sheppey or Sheppey CAN, and I'd be happy to help with any questions on using the wiki, etc, if you would like. No worries if not, that's fine, but the offer remains open, for the kind of work you're doing if you'd find it useful at any time. Best wishes, Phil

Thank you very much, that is something I would definitely be interested in. I want to polish bits first a little more. I will post an update in this thread once I've done that and the shorter public version. I'm having a little look at the CASwiki now and I think it would be useful.

A big thank you once again Phil for the support
