le pluriel (democraticseedS) me semble plus "rassembleur" que le singulier ...

it seems to me that the plural "Democratic SeedS" is more "federative" (sorry for my bad english) than singular ...

"We are the Democratic Seed" is more federating because it means we are ONE movement, ONE vision.. And it matches well current name of the main loomio group "Gentils Virus, Graine de démocratie".

"We are the Democratic Seeds" is closer the "Gentils Virus" in French: each individual is a virus/seed or each of us sow seeds of democracy.

Taking both domain names is not a good idea in my humble opinion; we have to make a choice.

PS: We forget about the other possible translations ?

PPS: Perhaps it would be a good idea to see how the translation of "Gentils Virus" and "Democratic Seed(s)" sounds in Spanish, Italian, ... to avoid having very different names in each and every language.

proposal 3 : some kind of thinking / debating / planning is necessary Closed 9:07am - Monday 11 Aug 2014

for example :
. try to get help from (preferably native) english speaking Gentils Virus
. a poll similar to https://www.facebook.com/groups/DemocraticSeed/permalink/273554412827890/ could be proposed in https://www.facebook.com/groups/DirectDemocracyTalks/

other ideas ?

J'aime bien le pluriel "Democratic seeds". Ça montre que ce n'est pas partisan, qu'on se rassemble tout en gardant notre identité individuelle.

Je vais contre l'avis général: moi j'aime bien la version sans S

Pour moi les deux conviennent, avec ou sans S.

@pierreyves I guess my english is too bad and I didn t express myself correctly ;)
By "federative" I meant what @fchapeau just expressed : several people or "movements" could recognize themselves as "democratic seedS" (loosely (?)) gathered under an "umbrella" ... for me "democratic seed" sounds more like a "party" ... we might need to define the "umbrella" of what we are though and @quentingrimaud has just started that ...
