Michel I follow your talks a lot, and we are currently thinking of a licensing strategies trying to address the issues you point in your talks and texts. We are currently promoting a model of CC with non commercial attributions, to be able to actually bargain with our commons pools. Do you have any thoughts or have some time to meet and talk about it.
We are basically following your "model for the commons", and we are specially interested in a communal valorization model that could unfold from the intangible commons we are creating.

Dear Jose,

I haven't followed the latest implementations as I should as I have been overwhelmed lately,

Kevin is in cc because he knows Liam of the CultureBank project, who has done some thinking about valorization processes,

copyfair license expert is Lionel Maurel, who understands english but can't converse to his satisfaction, he's been working with la coop des communs, who have been developing a copyfair license for their own use; Nicole, who knows english, is in cc,

I have some difficulty into organizing any conversations before May 9 myself,

Thanks Michel. Are these friends also on loomio? Or your cc to them go outside the loop of loomio? I was reading the coyfair proposal, how different it would be from CC BY-NC-SA 2.0?

Hi @michelbauwens1, we are currently negotiating with a manufacturer, and it has been difficult to convince them to go open source. It is a tractor manufacturer, that allows other manufacturers to manufacture his design, but they don't allow to distribute the source of the know-how. We most likely wont' follow the proposal, but I would like if possible to have a call with you to give you more details. We want to start a kind of business aligned with your models of openness, and the open cooperative vision you have mentioned. Let me know if you have time.

Thanks in advance,

Jose

it's always a very hard sell, but David Li has very good 'commercial' arguments, showing how essential the productive commons were for the development of China and Shenzen in particular,

There are of course examples like Arduino etc ...

Hi Michel, we are progressing relatively fast. We have set up kind of an open source task force group and initiative. Inspired in your p2p foundation proposals and discussions we have come up with a model that is working out. I am up for a call whenever you have time, to also show you the progress. This is our organization design repositories: https://github.com/goscommons,

But also I am trying to setup a partnership and find an investor for a first open hardware cnc laser cutter for metal.

dear Jose,

the people I mentioned were in cc in my previous email and are not necessarily on Loomio, so I would suggest connecting with them directly via email,

Hi p2pers :)
I wanted to share some of our progress: https://go-commons.gitlab.io/prometea/

I am a big follower, fan and student of p2p foundation. I would love to collaborate more tightly with p2p foundation.

Looking forward,
Jose
