FRINGE: POTATO STAMP MEGALOMANIAC

Mon 15 - Sat 20 Feb OR Mon 22-Sat 27 Feb Performance

"POTATO STAMP MEGALOMANIAC is a solo show that tries to replicate the sense of a manic episode, and hence come to an understanding of it from an internal perspective. It involves reflection on the limits of the brain's performance, wacky Buddhist parables and a font that could change the world.

It is based on an experience that I had in 2012.

The show is really playful and involves a fair bit of audience interactivity. I hope it will be ultimately deeply life-affirming.

This is my second self-made theatre work, the former being GOD-BELLY, made with my partner Rosie Tapsell, which premiered in the Wellington 2014 Fringe and was followed by a critically successful season at BATS that October.

I am about to start workshopping the piece with Joseph Harper and Chris Stratton.

Let me know if you need any more information.

Thank you!
Look forward to hearing from you,

Andrew Gunn

FRINGE Potato Stamp Meglomaniac 22-26th August Closed Mon 5 Oct 2015 3:07PM

I've contacted Andrew and offered Monday-Friday, so Social Fruits and Meisner Opening aren't pressured for time.

the show is going to run at 8 30, and Andrew was quite keen to have a Saturday performance, I think that would work with Social Fruits as they are usually done by then.

@natalialombardo @eamonn I'm sure Kim could do her performances at 6 or 630 to avoid a clash
