Eleanor - could you upload the draft survey sheet here so that we could discuss how to amend it for use here. Thanks.

I have Bath for Europe group on Loomio as well - so presumably they can read our postings if they are in both groups?
Also has anyone done this in 60 seconds! Looks more like a 5 minute job since 3 choices require consideration.

No, Bath for Europe won't be able to read this group. Loomio works by invited subscription only, and you can belong to several groups at once without anyone in any of the other groups seeing what groups you are in or what they are saying. This why Loomio is so useful - it files discussions for you, so that you can choose which to read at any time without having to wade through large numbers of emails.

Regarding the survey. It is up to us to prune it as we wish, and make it more relevant to our area, which is what the thread is for. I think the 60 seconds is actually supposed to refer to how long it would take us to explain it to them, but we should aim to have a survey that can be filled in in a very short time, otherwise it won't be done at all.

I think the document itself is professional and to the point; just I thought the opening list is rather daunting, and replicates surveys and discussions going elsewhere. I'd like to suggest we lose the EU relations question, and possibly the NHS one, These issues are constantly in the headlines. I don't know what anyone else thinks, I feel Bath will always have strong connections with Europe / EU - cultural status, International Music Festival, and the many summer holiday student programmes. At a local level, the later question about ease of access to GP / dentist etc is relevant as it is specific to the area residents.

' .....aim to have a survey that can be filled in in a very short time, otherwise it won't be done at all.' Completely agree.

Further to previous comments, was on the phone to the Council Tax people yesterday, and the BANES increase is 3.5%. The survey should link costs/cuts, A friend tells me sexual health services are to be cut. And the NHS wastes a LOT of money, automatic repeat prescriptions, tablets / meds that aren't actually doing any good - so further downstream this could be followed up.
