Looks perfect. Can we find out as a matter of urgency how much it would be to book it for a week in late summer/early autumn for a week? If we can pay for it before the end of March that would be fab.

Okay, Wortley Hall works out at ballpark £5000 per night to get the run of the place (£100 per 24hr delegate).

I'll create a proposal for the members of Outlandish(in the outlandish members cricle) to take on the upfront cost of booking the venue and come back with a proposal for this circle.
Personal preference on dates is the Oct 9-11 (Sun - Tues)
Mainly because starting on a Sunday gives people plenty of time to get up, and the September dates are right around my wedding and I'd love to come to this :)
Poll Created Thu 24 Mar 2016 4:33PM
Outlandish to pay upfront costs of hiring the hall for 9th - 11th October (circa 5k) Closed Wed 30 Mar 2016 3:07PM
This assumes we can get the costs agreed and invoiced for before the end of the financial year. John - are you able to help with this?
This also assumes other co-ops involved will contribute towards costs at a later date.
The proposed date is 9th - 11th October.
Thanks
Abi

Happy to pay delegate costs of the soon to formally exist weareopen.coop, likely we'll be 2-4 attendees.

Unfortunately 9th - 11th falls around the time of the International Open Data Conference (www.opendatacon.org) which will take up most of the Open Data Services team - and we're anticipating there being fringe events running onto the weekend after the main event.
Perhaps a doodle on dates?

Here is a Doodle poll with the dates in - could everyone put which co-op they are from so we get an idea if we have a good spread or not?

V V V keen to sort this before year-end as otherwise we will have less money we will be able to spend!!

Nov 14th - 16th has emerged as the One True Date!
Have asked Wortley Hall to quote for 50 delegates arriving 14th for evening meal, two days of conferencing/sprinting/hacking (all meals), then breakfast before departure on 17th.
Looking like Outlandish could pay a "deposit" this financial year...

Did you get anything booked @bevangelist ? Would be great for us to pencil this in and work out next steps...

Sounds good from my end. I won't be in UK at the time so will have to admire from afar.
