Do we need some sub-groups to help with organising?
For example, we could have [email protected] / [email protected] / [email protected] and/or [email protected] / [email protected]
or whatever. Each of the departments/groupings could start thinking a bit more about what's on offer and how they could improve their service. They could also start rationalising the millions of services currently listed on the coops.tech website

Sound suggestion
Also: [email protected] / [email protected] and similar. May not use them immediately, but might be good to at least flag the need at some point down the line

I meant conceptually really - should we have special interest/focus groups that can have a clearer mission/purpose/focus

I'm all in favour of people being able to see, easily, only the messages that they would like to see, and thus be active in collaboration on just those aspects of the whole in which they have an interest, can contribute, and can help make decisions about.
Conceptually, therefore, a big yes -- how to have the messages directed optimally is more of a challenge -- various solutions possible.

In theory SolidFund has task-and-finish groups for various themes (marketing, governance, finance, membership etc) but in practice there's been a bit of FTI. We set up a GSuite account for up to I think 7 email addresses (comms@, membership@, etc) that costs about £3/month, to try and streamline. In terms of governance working space, Loomio allows subgroups of main groups with visibility/participation settings.

Very good question, Harry. You mean here on Loomio? Or elsewhere?
