Chris Yong for Party President summary. In 2014, I was a candidate for the Te Atatu electorate and #2 on the party list. I have been an Executive Committee member since 2015 and now, current acting Party President. As we move towards the upcoming general election, it's important we continue to build stability and momentum with the party to deliver a strong election campaign. As Party President, I will continue to work with our executive and campaign teams to enable that to happen for the benefit of our members and to positively impact New Zealand.

Accepted the Nomination for Exec - my 150 words as Jo has already done, not Quite the same as the candidate statement.

"I am keen to work on providing a balanced perspective on the issues in New Zealand. Right Now, I am working as a Teacher at Auckland University of Technology part time teaching mathematics and economics and am also near the end of completing a Master of Economics full time in which I hope to graduate in December. I grew up in East Auckland and after finishing college decided to undertake a Bachelor of Business because I felt had a passion for the art. I decided to major in Economics and Finance as I was interested in how the world worked and graduated in December 2015 with a focus on Macroeconomic policy analysis. My goal in this election is to be a fearless leader on the political battlefield and to bring factual analysis and perspectives to the forefront, rising above the simple Two-Dimensional politics that we see in the mainstream".

@fredlook Due to an unforseen 5th Birthday Party for one of my nieces I will not be able to attend the AGM online as I will be ice skating at that point. Is there a way to cast my vote before the AGM? Am I able to proxy my vote to somebody that I trust? Can I just vote 'No Confidence' to be a complete a-hole?

I may be able to get online access during the AGM but I can't guarantee I will definitely have it so that's why I'm looking for other options.

In the past the voting was up prior to the time - it may be that can be done again - hopefully. Unfortunately your token is personal so you'd need to trust someone with it if it was only at the time

Perhaps a bit of Clarity on the Voting Procedure by the Secretary might be good, I think you have to do it via your Token Link and then Rank the candidates in someway.

I have just voted and a little more clarity would have been nice. For instance it ranks by numbers but didn't say whether a high number was better than a low number or vice versa. It also didn't give a number range so when I voted 100 for Jo it rejected it. Also, if you rank the candidates by the same number (eg; give somebody 1, somebody 2, and then give everybody else 3 it appears to self order the people with the same rank).

I am assuming that low is better than high and that the numbers used should be 1-5.......
