Internet Explorer

I think I know the answer to this, but need to ask on behalf of a colleague . . . Can Loomio be expected to run well inside Internet Explorer? Or is it time to replace the browser anyway? And go open-source, of course. Tips?

We support Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari. We know that internet explorer delivers a poor experience and warn people about this if they try using it.

Well, obviously the freedomware ("open source") way to go would be Firefox, and it runs very quickly these days. It'll work on Windows, just like IE, even old Windows - but IE has been done for a while now; the last few versions of Windows have used Edge - which would certainly be more likely to run Loomio properly.

i am trying to access loomio on a mobile wifi with opera(mini)...homepage loads up but no log in...

i am only trying the doohickey device angle as people in our group dont seem to see stuff when they are accessing by mobile, so i am checking it out...are there suggestions you would make for mobile use that i could pass on?

Hi @davidrayner we don't support opera. Loomio works best with either Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. However It's worth noting that old version of Safari (often still in use on i-devices) can have problems and it's worth ensuring your operating system is up to date.

About 30% of our users are mobile users. I'd love to know specific issues people are having.

Here is an article explaining how to add Loomio to your homescreen:
