[post] Can we find a consensus on some Covid 19-related issues?
Recently, we received more urgent questions about our stance in the debate(s). The manifestation in Brussels, which seems to have a huge polarizing effect in the population also pushes us to reflect on the crisis publicly.
I'm wondering if we can come up with a, minimal, joint stance on some topics. I've prepared a document here with a simple, preliminary structure. Feel free to go at it...

I didn't see this comment about Discord before. Personally for me, it doesn't matter what we use. Tonight, I can't participate anyway, so let's do it another time on another platform.

For privacy reasons, I wouldn't use Discord, it's collecting our personal data and sharing it with their business partners without our consent. It's also pretending in their Privacy Policy that it complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, except... this Privacy Shield has been invalidated by the Court of Justice of the EU more than a year ago, on the grounds that the US does not provide adequate protection for EU citizens. It's also a proprietary software.
As I said above, there is a Pirate (Austrian) Jitsi instance for video-conferencing. If you don't trust these Pirates, there is also the Jitsi instance of Belnet which has been used by many schools during this pandemic. And PPBe has its own audio-conferencing tool, self-hosted, free software, obviously not privacy invasive, and worked everytime I used it : https://talk.parley.be/
So, two questions to be asked :
is it really a good idea to associate PPBe with Discord? (I don't think so)
is it really a good idea to make it mandatory for Pirates to give up their privacy rights just to be able to participate in a PPBe meeting, especially when functioning solutions already exist? (I don't think so)
