Join subgroup

I don't understand necessity of sub group if it doesn't allow to talk when you are not a part of it. Everybody joins every subgroups, it is useless... (Did I miss something ?)

Currently, that's a feature being worked on. For now, admins have to approve subgroup members (an option to skip that is being implemented)

Also, part of the point of subgroups is to set up teams of people that are given free reign to come up with how they do things, and vote on necessary actions as a subgroup. In this way, we can have teams of people working independently of one another from within an organization.
