Well... For my stuff I would be very happy to have:
- a 3D printer
- a CNC cutting machine
- a soldering station
- a good quality Dremel machine
- a nice power source
- maybe a drill press
The 3D printer and CNC machine could be fabricated on-site, (without meaning that it would be cheaper than a bought kit)

For more generic use, it would be also nice to have:
- some sort of welding machine, preferably Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) or stick welding.
- a bench and a belt grider
- an angle grinder
- and if we want to be lavish, a milling machine!

Will that be enough? :P

agree giannis but no gas or oxygen type for welding in the buffer zone yet. do not mention things that might make UN bring in health and safety issues yet.
Also we will not have the budget yet for that but yes i agree we should finally find a way to get these hardware

Bringing parts built/printed/soldered/cut in EMEA makerspaces is also an option.

the gas in the proposed welding is inert, usually CO2. A measure to prevent oxidization with out the use of the shielding material of the traditional stick welding. Anyhow...

Do we need prize estimates for those stuff to write down the proposal?

hadn't thought of that! I'm thinking it'd be good to include price estimates on one or two things that we consider crucial.

cancel that! we DO need to state prices for equipment / equipment rental.

Yiannis A. suggested we put together our own CNC machine as part of the project. Also check out the combined CNC & 3D printer set:
