just not sure that a garden is innovative in itself - but the fact bringing together some key partners and seeing it as a community rather than just within the school could be more interesting - could be worth exploring further

Love that they are looking to "thrive now and into the future through building self-determination, social cohesion, food security and resilience." - However, I feel like it's yet another "community garden?" - Strong collaborative team around the concept though'

It's a good project but very costly. i feel that this can be done with more contribution from council, etc.

I had a chat to Faye and Sandra about this opportunity - ioffered to hook them up with some of our Pacific garden community experts as well as Manurewa community based sections of ASA etc as at the time i felt it had no community connection - agree with other commentary

Love that they're using a re-purposed "white lady" kitchen to cook healthy food options. Strong team of community and creative entrepreneurs behind the concept too!

Lots of good ingredients. I'd like to get TSI, Panuku and Roots in a room together to understand the collective understanding of impact. TSI have talked about this as a model for using empty council lots as pop-up spaces for food innovation hubs that could be replicated. This proposal needs a boost to move beyond the basic 'running a cafe' next to a community garden.
