What the Kingi money is for
Hi @tinapope @petehandford and I and Raima feel we need to be more explicit about what the money being raised towards givealittle will go towards. people clearly are giving at their own liability but there may be decisions they or we feel uneasy about. The money goes directly to Raima - she has set up an account. Ultimately legally its actually her say not ours - we are not a legal group - but we are all priposing it goes towards the deposit. For example, I feel I need to talk through about us subsidising rental before I feel easy. Hence this very quick consensus decisionmaking here on this page - to give you a chance to say anything or make us reconsider

I assume that first word in Marks proposal is That (not what). If that is the case then I agree that money goes toward deposit and associated costs for purchase of the house.

I agree, as Mike says deposit and expenses associated with buying a house - does give some wriggle room if necessary.
