Hi everybody from a New Co-op (needing help)!

Hi People!
Our names are Manlio Pertout and Martha Stephens, we live in Fife and we are founders and directors of a new Workers' Co-operative Company called The Human Exploring Society. We established the co-operative at the end of 2020 and at the moment we are just undertaking our first activities (official website and social media channels).
The purpose of our activities is to create instruments and spaces for a Community of People working in the Arts, Science, Journalism and Business who want to offer Energy and share Ideas about worldwide issues related to the Rights of Human Beings and the Rights of the Planet, making them universally understandable, and encouraging people to spread passionate messages and take practical action. Maybe the closest "label" to our project is a media-co-op.
We would love to share experiences and ideas with other Workers Coops and receive suggestions about professionals (accountants, lawyers) who have knowledge about the coops' needs and can help along the way.
We are really happy having found such a big community like this, and specifically we are interested in having a contact with a media coop to better understand how to set some contracts.
We would really appreciate if you could give us some help.
Thank you very much!

Manlio and Martha

Hi @Graham !
Thank you very much for looking at our website!
Our clients will be companies who promote fair-trade and eco-friendly products and services in an ethical manner. We will offer to them our various platforms where they can advertise through different forms (banners, articles, interviews, videos, photos).
At the moment we are focusing on building our team with new members of the co-op, creating insipiring content and gaining readers/followers.
Hopefully we answered your question, but thank you for raising this issue, and you're welcome to highlight any other things of note.
Have a nice Sunday!

great stuff @Mark Simmonds (Co-op Culture & Platform 6) - is this creative commons / coopyleft by chance?

Hi Sam, it's a curated collection and so subject to many different copyrights, although much of it is creative commons being the nature of the co-op beast

I meant is the curation itself creative commons (can some copy and past it, in whole or in part, into another format / website) :)

Have a similar list, and tempted to reduce some of this. Can also send Platform 6 some of the Irish links, such as they are.

Hi Sam. The list is totally open as far as can recall. Please feel free to add your resource links.

And you can copy it and use it elsewhere. We should probably add a CC-BY licence, but for now if you do make a copy a credit would be great.

OK. I think Graham has covered it above. Also please don't send us extra stuff - you can easily add it yourself.
