Light fake sand bags. Gives the sense of conflict, danger and mass while maintaining the ad hoc post apocalyptic feel.

Could be stacked in front of the dj or bar.

I enjoy this theme a lot! Could be super easy to sew too! Just need some hessian fabric?! Or even random off cuts of fabric could add to the hap hazard feeling? Sew them from old clothing? Jeans legs, shirt body's? Brain running away! Haha! Love this thought! Piled up either side of the DJ, could this form part of our DJ booth area?? Like a barricaded in DJ?!

Sheep skull. Ties the western and apocalypse themes together. Already part of our brand.

I love the application of electronic circuit board designs as it introduces a retro sci fi element

Oddities of nature. Reflecting a poisoned world that warps those within it.

Here is a reading of the Browning poem that inspired me to read Stephen King's 'The Dark Tower', which was where 'The Brink' concept initially came from. Essentially it describes the timeless wasteland frontier, and all the emotions that engenders.

It was written in 1855, so the poetic style and language can be a bit challenging. The environmental descriptions from Stanza 10 reminded me of feelings I've had in the outback when I was hitchhiking.

And check out the art of surreal-apocalyptic-horror artist Zdzisław Beksiński. A little more distant from implementable ideas, but really nice inspiration for spooky aesthetics.

P.S
Don't mind the google warning if it pops up, just hit 'view details' and then 'visit the site'. I can only imagine why google has flagged an art site as potentially hazardous.

Have I got a reference for you, I was showing an artist friend our totem pole at the maker lab this afternoon and he mentioned this bar in Romania he visited once that had a gas mask on a plasma ball amongst other awesome kinda steam-punkish stuff, he just sent me the link and oh my fucking god the place is amazing, check this shit out, inspiration up the fucking wazoo. Also made me realise we could probably make some decor that could be used by both The Brink and Steamphunk
